Ingredients

  • 1 lb ziti pasta
  • 1 lb chicken breast (thinly sliced)
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook ziti pasta in a large pot of boiling salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season chicken slices with salt and pepper. In a skillet, heat a tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat and cook the chicken until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of oil and sauté garlic until fragrant. Add broccoli florets and a splash of water; cover and steam until tender.
  4. Combine cooked pasta, chicken, and broccoli in the skillet. Drizzle with remaining olive oil and toss to mix well.
  5. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese, season with salt and pepper, and serve warm.

For a gluten-free version, use gluten-free pasta.
To make this dish dairy-free, omit the Parmesan cheese or use a dairy-free substitute.
